Glintect is a high-velocity startup engineering custom machine vision systems for automated visual inspection across manufacturing industries. Our platforms enable production facilities to detect and flag defects in real time — before non-conforming product ever leaves the line.
We are seeking a driven Product Owner & Scrum Master to own our delivery process end-to-end. You will steward work from initial concept through to production release, partnering closely with engineering and company leadership to ship high-impact features across our hardware-enabled AI inspection platform. This role suits someone who is technically literate, comfortable with ambiguity, and skilled at transforming broad product goals into precise, executable tasks for a compact, focused engineering team.
You’ll partner closely with our machine learning and software engineers to support live customer deployments. The emphasis is on delivery velocity, clear communication, and disciplined process — not code.
What You'll Do
• Own and administer our Jira environment — including backlog grooming, epic structuring, roadmap maintenance, and ceremony facilitation.
• Collaborate with engineering to sharpen requirements, author user stories, and produce well-defined acceptance criteria independently.
• Facilitate lean Scrum ceremonies — standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives — tailored for a 4–6 person engineering team.
• Translate high-level business objectives and customer needs into structured product work items, routing them through a consistent delivery pipeline (Idea → Backlog → Epic → Release).
• Partner with leadership to sequence work according to customer value, technical feasibility, and strategic priorities.
• Surface dependencies, risks, and blockers spanning software, hardware, and computer vision workstreams before they impede delivery.
• Maintain on-time project delivery through rigorous progress tracking, clear requirement ownership, and proactive cross-functional communication.
What We’re Looking For
• Technical fluency without engineering depth — you can reason about system architecture, APIs, software–hardware interfaces, and computer vision at a conceptual level.
• Demonstrated experience in a Product Owner, Scrum Master, or Technical PM capacity within a startup or equivalently fast-paced setting.
• Proven ability to author crisp user stories and acceptance criteria, and to decompose complex features into manageable work units with minimal engineering input.
• Highly organized, structured thinker with excellent written and verbal communication skills — someone who creates clarity from ambiguity.
• Comfortable balancing competing priorities and making informed trade-offs in a resource-constrained environment.
• Bias toward action: you move with urgency, remove blockers, and sustain team momentum.
• Proficiency with Jira or comparable tooling, and a genuine commitment to process that is lightweight, pragmatic, and team-enabling.
• A collaborative, low-ego professional who builds productive relationships across engineering, leadership, and customers.
